Roto-Rooter, the premier plumbing company in Columbia, TN, is on the lookout for a proactive and dependable full-time SEO and Content Marketing Specialist to optimize our online presence to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic to our website.

PAY & BENEFITS

This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from $55,000 to $65,000 per year , along with paid time off (PTO) and paid training on-site.

YOUR ROLE AS AN SEO AND CONTENT MARKETING SPECIALIST

As a full-time SEO and Content Marketing Specialist, you perform in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify relevant search terms and prioritize target keywords. Your role involves optimizing website content to enhance search engine visibility and ensuring that the website structure and navigation provide a seamless user experience. Collaborating with content creators, you produce high-quality, optimized blog posts and articles, implement strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks, and manage local SEO efforts.

You also conduct regular website audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues, collaborate with web developers to implement best practices, and monitor performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console. By generating reports that track key metrics, such as organic traffic and keyword rankings, you will provide actionable insights for continuous improvement. Staying updated on industry trends and SEO developments is essential to ensure strategies remain effective and align with best practices.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Experience as an SEO specialist or in a similar role, preferably in the plumbing or home services industry
• In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, including on-page optimization, link building, and local SEO
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.

YOUR HOURS

Choose your preferred schedule: Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, from 8 am to 4 pm.
