Job Description

The Corporate Trainer for the Northeast region at Stratton Amenities is responsible for developing and delivering training programs to improve employee performance. The trainer ensures all team members embody the high standards of service that define Stratton Amenities. The role also includes providing emergency shift coverage and requires travel within the region once per month.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Training Program Development : Create engaging training materials, including manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules.
  • Facilitation : Deliver in-person and virtual training to new hires and current employees on topics like company culture, customer service, and safety protocols.
  • Onboarding : Lead the onboarding process, ensuring new employees are set up for success.
  • Performance Assessment : Track employee progress and provide additional coaching when needed.
  • Compliance and Certification : Ensure all training complies with industry standards and legal requirements.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Work with department heads and regional managers to identify training needs.
  • Shift Coverage : Step in for emergency shift coverage when necessary.
  • Travel Requirements : Travel to properties within the Northeast region at least once per month for onsite training and support.
  • Reporting and Documentation : Maintain training records and report on outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement : Stay up to date with industry trends to enhance training programs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in training and development, ideally in the hospitality or service industry.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to adapt training for different learning styles.
  • Proficiency in e-learning platforms and training software.
  • Flexibility for travel and shift coverage as needed.
