We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in San Ramon, California. The Controller will be a crucial part of our team, overseeing our accounting operations, delivering periodic financial reports, and ensuring our financial results are in line with generally accepted accounting principles.

Responsibilities

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and present financial statements per US GAAP.
• Analyze financial data and provide management reports.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Accounting Operations:

• Supervise accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Maintain internal controls to protect company assets.
• Lead and mentor accounting staff.
• Implement accounting policies and manage tax compliance.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Develop and oversee the annual budget.
• Prepare financial forecasts and analyze projections.
• Track budget variances and recommend corrective actions.

Financial Analysis:

• Assess financial performance and identify trends.
• Support strategic decisions with financial insights.
• Conduct cost accounting analysis.

Systems & Technology:

• Implement and optimize accounting software.
• Leverage technology for financial efficiency.
• Ensure data integrity and system accuracy.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
• Master’s in Accounting or MBA (preferred).

Experience:

• 15+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong management background.
• Experience in professional services (preferred).

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
• Deep understanding of internal controls.
• Knowledge of tax regulations.
