Job Description
Position Summary:
This is a temporary position.
The Contract Recruiter is responsible for the full-life cycle recruitment process, including the development and execution of attraction, sourcing, assessment, selection, and acquisition strategies for high quality candidates. This is for external and/or internal candidates for all level jobs, including entry level, sales, experienced professional/technical, IT, support staff and hourly, and possibly management. May utilize the services of employment agencies. Places employment ads in appropriate sources, including the Internet and print media. May recruit from colleges, technical schools and job fairs.
Position Responsibilities:
May include;
• Establish recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; collaborating with managers to discuss needs and long term strategies.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including role definition, strategic candidate sourcing, interviewing, selection, offer development/negotiation presentation and on-boarding in partnership with HRBPs and Client Leadership
• Build applicant sources by researching and establishing relationships with community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
• Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
• Ensure approved job requisition details and descriptions are correctly entered in the ATS including EEO and FLSA information.
• Attract applicants by placing job advertisements; social media, using newsgroups and job sites.
• Determine applicants’ qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
• Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interview applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
• Generate reports, extract and analyze data to identify trends and report findings and make recommendations to senior management.
• Develop plans to meet established metrics and KPIs
• Comply with defined processes and ensure the data entry, maintenance of accurate and concise records, documents and reports concerning all phases of the recruitment process, including EEO statistics. (i.e.; Job details, posting, candidate details, forms via Applicant Tracking System (ATS), pre-employment, etc)
• Improve organization attractiveness by recommending and implementing new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
• Maintain knowledge of current legislation; enforce regulations with managers; recommend new procedures; conduct training.
• Continuously update recruiting job knowledge and best practices through various learning methods & opportunities.
• Participate in additional activities/projects that will enhance Talent Acquisition and other areas of the company

• Uses established procedures and works under supervision to perform assigned tasks
• Work is closely supervised
Knowledge & Skills:
• Deep understanding of sourcing candidates through various means, channels and full-life cycle of recruiting processes
• Excellent interpersonal skills and “customer focus” with ability to positively interact and build relationships with all levels of a rapidly growing geographically dispersed organization.
• Strong working knowledge and utilization of ATS applications and MS Office– Outlook, Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
• Must have in-depth knowledge of sourcing tools: LinkedIn Recruiter, Monster, social media
• Strong knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including business acumen
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to effectively prioritize tasks
• High level of attention to detail/accuracy and effective analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information.
• Ability to apply good judgment and decision-making skills, strong work ethics and integrity on the job.
• Ability to recognize and drive continuous improvement efforts
• Flexibility with work hours / days as needed
Experience:
Experience in recruiting preferred
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. College education is preferred
People Management: No
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations. Travel will be required on an as needed basis – up to 25%. May work various schedules and days to accommodate recruiting efforts.
