COMPANY OVERVIEW

The part-time, on-call, Company Driver will safely drive company vehicles to transport passengers and/or cargo.

1. Drives company cars, or privately owned vehicles, to transport passengers and/or cargo and ensures passengers reach their destinations safely and on time.
2. Communicates with RCS Management by phone or computer to receive requests for passenger service.
3. Picks up passengers at prearranged locations.
4. Follows RCS’s Driving Policy (HSE-MS-1032 Driving Policy) and prepares required HSE forms, as required:
   1. Vehicle Incident Report: Form to complete any time a company vehicle is involved in an accident, regardless of how minor it may be.
   2. Journey Management Plan: Describes the trip plan including destination, driver, passengers, weather conditions, hazards, routes, etc.
   3. Monthly Vehicle Safety Checklist: Ensures vehicle equipment such as tires, lights, body, glass, fluids, accessories, and safety equipment are operating properly.
5. Observes safety regulations and state laws regarding vehicle operation; ensures passengers also follow applicable safety regulations.
6. Performs other related duties as required.

1. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
2. Applicable state licensing and certification required.
3. Excellent driving skills.
4. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Excellent time management skills.
6. Thorough understanding of traffic regulations, road signs, and routes.
7. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

1. Physically able to drive a vehicle for prolonged periods of time.
2. Must be able to drive a vehicle at night.
3. Must be able to lift and move luggage weighing up to 50 pounds.
