As a Chief People Officer – Innovation & DCS, you will report directly to the Deputy Chief People Officer, Shared Services and the Global Leaders of Innovation and Digital Client Solutions (DCS). This leader will serve as the primary People Org advisor to the Innovation and DCS Leadership Teams and will play an active and consultative role in crafting and guiding the overall global talent strategy for the business; focusing on building the talent capabilities and strengthening the Aon United culture to drive long-term sustainable growth. What will you be doing? Build trusted relationships with the Innovation & DCS Leadership Teams to plan and develop, monitor, and measure the success of the overall Innovation & DCS People strategies, in line with the strategic direction of Innovation & DCS and the People Organization. Member of the Innovation & DCS Leadership Teams who can advise and consult on Global matters and initiatives and can optimally cascade the information to the regional PO teams. Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the Innovation & DCS business models, enabling strategic consulting on, and for the delivery of people initiatives to deliver business results and performance. Develop both in-year and multi-year talent strategies (sourcing and hiring, capability building, development, career paths, talent review and succession, rewards/incentives) consistent with the Solution Lines growth and contribution margin plan in consultation with the relevant COE’s global standards. Provide input into key staffing and hiring decisions to ensure that both growth and Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) objectives are considered and met. Define and cascade performance expectations and goals that are aligned to Solution Line, Regional and Corporate Objectives. Maintain aggregated global view of Innovation & DCS talent (including I&D), capabilities, culture and critical needs. Responsible for partnering with the Innovation & DCS aligned People Org teams globally; working with the dedicated People business partners in the regions and COEs to deliver outstanding service and support. Ensure the team is fully equipped to guide and collaborate with Innovation & DCS colleagues and leaders in the regions to drive business results and outcomes for the business and Aon. Work with the Regional CPOs to ensure that talent life-cycle processes are run and delivered with an Aon United approach. Influence and participate in the development of the Solution Line Global People org strategy, member of the Global Solution Line People Team. You Bring Knowledge and Expertise Able to consult to the entire People Org Service Delivery Model with a coordinated, global perspective, proven success resolving sophisticated People issues. Able to build effective links at all levels of the organization, and to consult, influence and partner with senior leaders in developing/executing people strategies to drive business performance. Consistent track record of working in a sophisticated environment ensuring that key stakeholders often with conflicting priorities are heard and supported. Creative and adept at problem solving, with an appreciation of diverse cultures and regions. Able to consult on application of policy and process as well as trends, themes, and solutions.
