Be ready to recommend the perfect beer for every taste, whether its an IPA, a crisp lager, or something experimental. Bartending Skills: Mix up killer cocktails, pour drinks with precision, and serve everything from brews to handcrafted cocktails and classic drinks. Engage & Educate: Share your beer knowledge with guests, explaining styles, flavors, and the brewing process in a way thats fun and approachable. Whether theyre beer geeks or first-timers, youve got them covered. Keep the Bar Buzzing: Engage with guests at the bar, keeping the conversation flowing and the energy high. Whether its a crowded Friday night or a laid-back afternoon, you know how to keep the good vibes going. Pour with Precision: Ensure every pour is on pointno wasted beer, and perfect presentation every time. Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring that glassware, equipment, and garnishes are always ready to roll. Team Collaboration: Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service from bar to table. Handle the Hustle: The bar can get busy, but youre cool under pressure, serving up drinks quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality. Cash & Tab Management: Handle payments and tabs accurately, keeping track of orders and balancing out the register at the end of your shift.Qualifications: Passion for craft beer and a strong knowledge of different styles, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles (or an eagerness to learn quickly!). Prior bartending experience in a fast-paced bar or restaurant environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with all types of guestsfrom beer newbies to connoisseurs. Ability to multitask and stay calm during busy shifts while maintaining high standards of service. Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift kegs/beer cases as needed.Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a brewery or craft beer-focused bar is a plus. Knowledge of basic beer and cocktail pairings and a genuine love for talking all things beer. Alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) is a bonus.
