Responsible for the prompt repair and maintenance of all LSG trucks, vehicles and fleet-related equipment. Duties involve upgrading, installation, repairs, and adhering to preventive maintenance schedules of all equipment. Duties could include fleet maintenance repairs and refurbishment. Works closely with CSC Maintenance/Facility Manager as needed.

Eligible candidates must:

• Be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States
• Pass a background check and clear a drug screen
• Be able to stand for the FULL duration of the shift
• Be a team player and work well with a diverse team from all over the world!
• Ability to comprehend verbal & written specifications in English

Additional eligibility requirements and details:

• This is a Union Position- must be willing to pay union dues after 60 days
• Must be available to work a full-time position, including Weekends and Holidays as needed
• Must be able to complete the application/orientation process in English
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds occasionally, 50+ pounds frequently & 10+ pounds consistently. Bend / stoop & twist repeatedly & stand for 8 - 12 hours a day
• Shift: 7am- 3:30pm Monday through Friday

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform corrective, preventative maintenance/repairs and diagnosing on Company vehicles including major repairs requiring a high level of skill/and special certifications

To Include- but not limited to:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose & repair vehicle electrical systems to ensure proper operation
• Troubleshoot, diagnose & repair diesel/gas vehicles
• Engine diagnostics, repair, rebuild
• Body/frame/fiberglass repair
• MIG & ARC Welding
• Ability to ensure proper operation/repair of: Alternator/Starter/Battery, Brakes/suspension/steering, Hydraulics
• Ability to trend, track and follow preventative measures/schedule relating to all functions of company vehicles
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Consistent communication with supervisors including relevant issues relating to maintenance of company vehicles
• Uphold company standards by maintaining a professional appearance

Job Qualifications (including but not limited to):

• Must be detail oriented, with good organizational and communication skills
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift heavy objects and be on the move intermittently for shifts of at least 8 hours
• Proficiency in English speaking, reading and writing skills
• Adaptability to frequently changing environments and deadlines
• Ability to work in stressful situations and meet deadlines
• Knowledge/Experience of and understand diagnostic software
• Computer literate
• 3 Years related mechanical/electrical experience

Certification Requirements:

• Obtain a commercial driver's license (Class A or B) within 60 days of employment
• Current A.S.E. or comparable certification and must be maintained during employment NOT MASTER TECH
• Must be able to obtain SIDA clearance for operation on the AOA (Airport Operations Area)

Job Specific Requirements:

• Flexibility and availability to work assigned schedule which may include: night, weekends, and holidays
• Availability to work overtime as needed
• Successful completion of background check, TSA check, and drug screen
• Exposure to hot and cold temperatures and loud noises required
• Successful completion of mechanic's interview skills test
