Position Title (Classification Title): Adjunct Instructor Pool - Department of Biology

Job Summary: The UWF Hal Marcus College of Science and Engineering, Department of Biology, is seeking qualified part-time adjunct instructors to teach Biology courses. Instructors with experience in Introductory Biology I or II, Anatomy & Physiology, Cell & Molecular Biology, Genetics, Marine Biology & Oceanography, and Zoology are particularly needed.

The college is building a pool of adjuncts for teaching opportunities for upcoming semesters. Applications will be accepted on an on-going basis.

Department Biology

FLSA: Exempt

Minimum Qualifications: Holds at least the master's degree in an appropriate specialization or the equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and is otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties. The appointee may engage in teaching, scholarship and creative projects, and/or service and other related activities, but is not eligible for tenure.

Position Qualifications: Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of specialization or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties.

Preferred Qualifications A doctorate degree in the appropriate field of specialization from an accredited institution
